01  —  About Truckyard

Truckyard is a curated outdoor food truck and hospitality venue opening in September 2026 on E. Main Street in Downtown New Albany, Indiana. Developed by The Sprigler Company, Truckyard is designed to be a destination gathering place — featuring a rotating food truck lineup, full-service bar, indoor-outdoor patio, and rooftop bar — that serves both the local community and draws visitors from across the bridge in Louisville.

The venue will operate Tuesday through Sunday with an atmosphere that shifts from family-friendly afternoons to a social bar-driven evening crowd. Programming will include community events, sports viewing, seasonal activations, and more.

Truckyard is part of a broader Sprigler Company investment in Downtown New Albany — building hospitality concepts that celebrate the city's historic character, support local culinary talent, and create genuine tourism draw.

02  —  Purpose of This RFP

The Sprigler Company is seeking proposals from qualified marketing professionals, agencies, or freelancers to lead the marketing and social media rollout for Truckyard's launch. This is a paid engagement covering the pre-opening period through post-opening stabilization.

We are looking for a partner(s) who understand(s) hospitality and food and beverage marketing, can move quickly, and is excited to help build a brand from the ground up in a growing market.

03  —  Scope of Work

The selected candidate or agency will be responsible for the following:

BRAND & DIGITAL FOUNDATION

  • Refinement of brand voice and content strategy

  • Social media account optimization (Instagram, Facebook)

  • Google Business setup and ongoing optimization

  • Website coordination support (copywriting, content direction)- Landing page is live, but will need further buildout to support: truck vendor scheduling, programming calendar, and menu.

  • SEO setup and optimization — with particular emphasis on tourism and regional search

  • Email and SMS capture strategy and setup

LAUNCH CAMPAIGN

  • Pre-opening buzz and awareness campaign

  • Grand opening announcement strategy and assets

  • Influencer and community outreach

  • Press release distribution and media coordination

  • Opening event marketing support

ONGOING CONTENT & SOCIAL MEDIA

  • Consistent content creation and posting across all platforms

  • Reels and short-form video production (or direction)

  • Weekly vendor lineup and event promotion

  • Community engagement and response management

  • Monthly content calendar development

PAID ADVERTISING

  • Meta (Facebook/Instagram) ad campaign management

  • Google ad setup and management

  • Audience targeting strategy for Louisville/Southern Indiana market

  • Performance tracking and reporting

04  —  Budget

Please structure your proposal around the following budget considerations:

  • Launch / pre-opening investment (one-time)

  • Ongoing monthly retainer or service fee

  • Paid advertising budget (this should be separate from your fee’s)

We are open to proposals from individual freelancers, and small agencies. Please be transparent about what is and isn't included in your fee, and clearly note any expenses that would be billed separately.

05  —  What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate or agency brings:

  • Demonstrated experience marketing hospitality, food & beverage, or entertainment venues

  • A strong portfolio of social media content — particularly Instagram and TikTok

  • Familiarity with the Louisville/Southern Indiana market (preferred, not required)

  • Experience running paid Meta and Google ad campaigns with measurable results

  • The ability to move quickly — we are opening in September 2026

  • A collaborative working style and clear communication

  • Experience coordinating with or directing photographers and content creators

06  —  What to Include in Your Proposal

Please submit a proposal that includes the following:

  1. A brief overview of your background and relevant experience

  2. 2–3 examples of past hospitality or F&B marketing work (links or attachments)

  3. Your proposed scope and approach for the Truckyard launch

  4. A clear breakdown of your fees — launch investment and ongoing monthly cost

  5. Your recommended paid advertising budget (separate line item)

  6. Your availability and proposed start date

  7. Any questions you have for us before submitting

Target Dates

Interviews / Follow-Up Conversations: Monday, June 29, 2026

Selection Announced: Monday, July 6, 2026

Engagement Begins: Friday, July 10th
